First, ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines on the Skimmer Seal Ring. Next, inspect for any obstructions at the Strainer Basket, Filter Cartridge, Hose, and Return Fitting. If the Filter Cartridge is dirty, clean or replace it. Also, check if the Motor Rotor is blocked by dirt and refer to pump servicing instructions to clean it.

  If you notice water leakage from your Blue Wave Swimming Pool Pump, check the following areas: At the hose connections with Skimmer Canister and/or 90° Elbow, ensure the Hose Clamps are properly tightened over both the Hose and the Hose Connection O-Rings; adjust and retighten if necessary and check the Hose for cracks or holes and replace as needed. At the bottom of the Canister, make sure the Canister Gasket sits correctly in the groove on the bottom of the Canister before installing the pump, check pump alignment, and ensure the Motor Seal Nut is not cross-threaded. Between the Canister and pool wall, ensure the Skimmer Gasket Rubber Seal is installed properly, the pool liner is not trapped in the threads, there are no gaps between the Gasket and the Canister, and the Skimmer Seal Ring ...
