“This product is in compliance with EU Directive 2002/96/EC. The crossed-out
bin symbol on the appliance indicates that at its end of life the product must be
treated separately from domestic waste. It must be disposed of at a separate waste
collection site for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) or returned to a
vendor at the purchase of a new equivalent appliance. The user is responsible for
the disposal of end-of-life equipment at suitable collection facilities. The proper
separate collection of waste facilitates its subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally
compatible disposal. This strategy is conducive to the avoidance of possible negative effects on
the environment and health and favours recycling of the product component materials. For
