Press locks (1) to the centre and fold battery holder (2) to the top.
• Unhook battery holder (2) at the rear on the battery compartment and remove.

• Press locks (1) to the centre and fold battery holder (2) to the top.
• Disconnect connector (3) for frequency aerial (4) .
• Unhook battery holder (2) at the rear on the battery compartment and remove with
frequency aerial (4) .
• Use the red jump lead to connect the remote positive terminal of the discharged
battery to the positive terminal of the donor battery.
• Then connect one end of the black jump lead to the negative terminal of the donor
battery, and the other end to the negative terminal of the discharged battery.
• Start the engine of the vehicle with the discharged battery in the usual way; if the
engine does not start, wait a few minutes before repeating the attempt in order to
protect the starter motor and the donor battery.
• Disconnect the jump lead from the negative terminal first, then from the positive
terminal.
• Install the battery holder. Fit battery cover.
