• Place the MaxiScooter on its stand.
• Remove the right side panel as follows:
• Open stowage-compartment lid (1).
• Remove screws (2).
• Remove screw (1) and remove top right side panel (2) , noting the locators (arrows) .
• Begin by connecting one end of the red jump lead to the vehicle's battery positive
terminal and the other end to the positive terminal of the donor vehicle's battery.
• Connect one end of the black jump lead to the vehicle's battery negative terminal and
the other end to a suitable grounding point on or the negative terminal of the donor
vehicle's battery.
• Start the engine of the vehicle with the discharged battery in the usual way; if the
engine does not start, wait a few minutes before repeating in order to protect the
starter motor and the donor battery.
