Pull the bulb out of the bulb
socket.
Replace the defective bulb.
Light source for the
number plate light
W5W / 12 V / 5 W
Use a clean, dry cloth to hold
the new bulb in order to keep
the glass free of foreign matter.
Insert the bulb into the socket.
Insert bulb socket 1 into the
bulb support.
Replacing the additional
headlight
with additional headlight
OE
An additional headlight can
only be replaced as a complete
unit. Consult a specialist work-
shop, preferably an authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer.
Body panels
Removing the tank cover
Removing seat ( 124).
Remove screws 1 on left and
right.
