Range prediction
Principle
The range prediction indicates the extent to
which the range can be influenced with the
current driving style. This supports an efficient
driving style.
General information
The current range is influenced by many fac-
tors, including speed.
The range trend shows the expected develop-
ment of the range with the current driving style.
The range trend is based on the average elec-
trical consumption that is calculated for the di-
rectly traveled route section.
Additional information:
▷ Range, refer to page 154.
▷ Increasing the range, refer to page 310.

Range prediction with active
guidance
With active guidance, the distance to the des-
tination and the expected charge state of the
high-voltage battery when the destination is
reached are also displayed.
Icon Description
The expected battery charge
state when the destination is
reached is displayed next to
the icon.
The icon is displayed when
route guidance to a charging
post was started on the navi-
gation system.
The icon is displayed when
route guidance was restarted
on the navigation system. In-
formation from the navigation
system is taken into account
for the calculation of the cur-
rent range.
Setting the units of
measurement
Depending on the national-market version, you
can set the units of measurement for some
values, for instance energy consumption, dis-
tances, and temperature.
