ALTERNATOR
Alternator 8elt Adjustment (741)
Open the rear door.
Remove the
belt shield bolts.
Remove the belt shield from the engine [A].
Loosen the adjustment bolt [8].
Move the alternator to set the belt tension at 5/16" (8 mm)
deflection with 15 pounds
of
force [C].
Tighten the adjustment bolt [8].
Install the belt shield.
