Grind the old valves if you are going to use them again.
Install the valve and measure the distance to the head. If
the valve depth is over the maximum the valve seat will
need to be replaced [AJ.
Use
valve seat removal tool kit PIN 003-3409.
Heat the cylinder head to 450°F (250°C) in an oven.
Remove the head from the oven using insulated gloves.
Tap out the valve guides from the bottom (Piston side)
with a punch
[B] .
Install valve seat removal tool and remove the valve seat
[C] .
NOTE: The valve seat removal tool will need to be
fabricated locally.
