ENGINE MOUNTS
Replacing Engine Mounts
Lubricate the outside of the rubber mounts with water
(Item
1)
[A] and install them
in
the engine mounts.
NOTE: Soap
or
oil
will
deteriorate
the
rubber
mounts.
DO
NOT use
soap
or
oil
when
installing mounts.
Install the front mount
on
the engine. Use LOCTITE on
the
bolts (Item
2)
[A]. Tighten the bolts to
32-34
ft.-Ibs.
(43-47
Nm)
torque.
Install and tighten the bolt (Item
5)
[A]
to
40-44
ft.-Ibs.
(54-60
Nm)
torque.
Install the rear mount on the engine. Use LOCTITE
on
the
six
bolts (Item
3)
[A]. Tighten the bolts to 93-103 ft.-Ibs.
(125-140
Nm)
torque.
Install the engine.
Install the bolts (Item
4)
and tighten to 90-100 ft.-Ibs.
(125-135
Nm)
torque.
