Install the oil slinger (Item 1) [A]. Put oil on the
O-ring
and
install the O-ring
(Item 2)
[A]
and the collar (Item 3) [A].
Gearcase
Installation
Install the O-ring and the oil seal
in
the gearcase cover
[B).
NOTE: Put
oil
on
the
oil
seal.
Install the gearcase cover and bolts. Tighten the bolts to
13-15
ft.-Ibs.
(18-20
Nm) torque.
Install the crankshaft sheave and tighten the nut to
101-116
ft.-Ibs. (137-157 Nm) torque.
Install the start spring
[C]
.
Install the speed control plate and governor spring [0].
NOTE: Do
not
drop
the
governor
spring
into
the
gearcase.
