Check oil level after every 8 hours of operation. (Check oil every 4 hours on new engine during the first
50 hours of
operation.)
Oil level must be between the addand full mark on the dipstick. Use a good quality detergent motor oil that meets the correct
API service classification SF or SE.
Use oil of correct SAE viscosity for expected temperature conditions.
