The
Bobcat loader has a
operator
guard
(ROPS
and
FOPS)
as
standard
equipment.
The
ROPS and FOPS
protects
the
operator
from
roll
over
and
falling
objects.

change
the
operator
guard
by
welding,
grinding,
drilling
holes
or
adding
attachments
that
are
not
approved.
This
can
weaken
the
operator
guard
and
cause personal
injury
or
death.

the

guard has been damaged.
Make
sure
the
operator
guard
fastening
bolts
and
nuts
are
tight
(Fig.
77).
BOB-TACH
Check
for
free
movement
of
wedges
and Bob-Tach levers.
When
the
Bob-Tach levers (Fig.
78,
Item
1) are pushed
down
into
the
locked
position,
the
wedges
must
extend
far
enough
to
engage
into
the
holes
of
the
attachment
(Fig.
79).
Replace
wedges
that
are
bent
or
broken.
