Place pot on a dry, flat, non-slip surface and pull plunger unit up.
Add coarse ground coffee to the pot for each cup.
Pour hot water, leaving space, and stir brew with a plastic spoon.
Place plunger unit on pot, close lid to cover spout, do not press.
Allow coffee to brew for at least 4 minutes, then slowly lower plunger.
