The Bogen BPA60 Power Amplifier has been designed to ful-
fill the power amplification requirements of professional and com-
mercial sound systems. The BPA60 supplies 60 watts RMS
output. Total harmonic distortion is less than 2% at rated output
from 50 Hz to 15 kHz with a frequency response of -2 dB from
20Hz to 20 kHz.
An input signal of only 300mV is required for full rated output
(75mV for low-impedance balanced input with accessory trans-
former TL600). Input impedances are: 50k, high-impedance un-
balanced; or 600 ohms, low-impedance balanced, with accessory
transformer TL600. Line-bridging may be achieved with Bogenʼs
TL100 accessory (transformer). Output impedances are: 8-
ohm/25V, 16-ohm, 25VCT, and 70V.
A Lo-cut filter provides 10 dB attenuation at 100 Hz. An input
level control (screwdriver-adjustable) allows higher input signal
level without overdrive.
An AC circuit breaker and transient protection diodes prevent dam-
age due to overloads. The amplifier is also thermally protected from
excessive temperatures.
An illuminated power switch is located on the front panel. Input
and output connectors, input level control, lo-cut filter switch, AC
circuit breaker, and auxiliary power receptacle are located on the
rear panel. The thermal breaker and accessory transformer socket
are located internally.
The amplifier operates from a 120V AC, 60 Hz source. The three-
wire line cord provides automatic grounding of the amplifier and
auxiliary receptacle when connected to a properly grounded three-
wire power outlet.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when not used for long periods of time.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.
