BOLD SMART LOCK

SX SERIES

Installation Manual

1. Use the Allen key supplied to loosen the

Allen bolt of the outside knob.

2. Remove the outside knob from the lock.

3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the locking pin

of the old cylinder lock.

4. Remove the old cylinder lock.

Optional: The interior is locked so that it cannot

be unwantedly removed.

Tighten the locking screw on the inside with the

supplied Allen key.

Check with the old cylinder lock that the length

of the central hole to the inside and outside of

the Bold cylinder is the same. Extend cylinder if

necessary.

General

Loosen the Allen bolt on the outside knob and remove it from the lock.

Loosen the locking pin with a screwdriver and remove the old cylinder lock.

Optionally lock the interior by tightening the locking screw with the Allen key.

Check the length of the old cylinder to ensure the new one fits correctly.

Insert the new lock into the opening and tighten the cylinder locking bolt.

Use adapters to adjust cylinder length for normal or anti-pulling door fittings.

Put the outside button back on and secure it using the included inbus key.

Push the two pins inwards to detach the inside of the knob from the housing.

Open the battery compartment cover to access the battery.

Remove the old battery, insert a new one, and reinstall the knob.
