Why is my BOMANN DU 659 IX not running efficiently?

Your BOMANN Ventilation Hood might not be running efficiently because of several reasons. Ensure that you have selected the appropriate power level. A dirty grease filter can also impact efficiency, so clean it as described in the manual's “Cleaning the aluminum grease filter” section. If you are using recirculation mode, verify that the carbon filter is correctly installed as described in “Replacing the activated carbon filter”. Finally, make sure the air outlet is clear if you're using extraction mode and that the kitchen is properly ventilated.
