  If your Bombardier Offroad Vehicle's engine turns over but doesn't start, check the ignition fuse. Ensure the fuel tank has sufficient fuel and follow the correct starting procedure, using the choke as needed. If the engine is flooded, refer to SPECIAL PROCEDURES. If there's no fuel reaching the engine, verify the fuel valve is ON (or try RES). If there's no spark, check the ignition fuse again, remove and reconnect the spark plug(s) to the ignition coil or spark plug caps, and ensure the ignition and engine stop switches are ON. Test for spark by grounding the spark plug(s) away from the spark plug holes; replace if no spark is present. If the problem persists, it is recommended to contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer.

Inspect the main fuse (for Traxter CVT) or MPEM and solenoid fuses (for Traxter 5 SPEED) for any burning. Finally, verify the battery connections are secure and the battery is strong. If the problem persists, it is recommended to contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer to have the battery checked.

For carburetor adjustments, engine overheating (check ENGINE OVERHEAT in SPECIAL PROCEDURES), or a dirty/worn CVT, it is recommended to contact an authorized Bombardier ATV dealer.
