A250 PREPARATION
1. Remove the packaging of the BONECO A250.
2. Rinse the A250 for 2 minutes under cold running
water.
3. Screw the A250 to the BONECO U310.
ON WATER HARDNESS
The BONECO U310 is supplied with an A250. The granu-
late contained in it filters the lime out of the tap water so
that it is not released into the room air. Hard tap water
accelerates saturation of the granulate so that the A250
must be replaced earlier.
DETERMINING WATER HARDNESS
1. Dip the enclosed test strip into a glass of cold tap
water for 1 second.
2. Read the water hardness after a few seconds.
3. Refer to the table to determine the duration of effect
of the A250:
Dispose of the saturated A250 with your regular house-
hold waste.
The A250 should not be used longer than specified. White
dust around the appliance is a sure indication that the
A250 has run its course. You can obtain replacements
from your BONECO specialist dealer or our online store at
