7. Turn the hand wheel to rotate the vehicle part to
the desired working position (see the Ford
workshop manual).
CAUTION
Crushing Hazard!
Rotating the load carelessly could cause body
parts to be crushed.
Keep body parts out of the load's rotation
range.
8. Lock the hand wheel and the vehicle part into the
desired working position using the locking pin.
WARNING
Uncontrolled movements of the load
could cause personal injury or
damage to materials!
Uncontrolled movements of the vehicle part on
the engine stand could cause serious personal
injury or severe damage to materials.
Perform service or maintenance work only
when the hand wheel is locked into place with
the locking pin.
Release the locking pin only to adjust the
position of the vehicle part. Lock the hand
wheel into place again as soon as the vehicle
part's position has been adjusted.
9. Perform the service and maintenance work (see
the Ford workshop manual).
10. Store the engine stand in a suitable location when
not in use and lock the brakes on the castor
wheels.
5 Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect the engine stand and accessories for visible
damage before each use. Do not use the engine stand
or accessories if damaged or in poor condition.
Clean the entire engine stand at least once a year.
Use the grease fittings to grease the shaft bearing at
least once a month. Use only MOLYKOTE G-RAPID PLUS
for greasing.
Use only original replacement parts.
Only the manufacturer shall perform any necessary
repair work.
NOTICE
Modifications to this product which have not been
expressly approved by the manufacturer shall void any
warranty. The manufacturer assumes no liability for
personal injuries or damages to materials which occur
as the result of improper use of this product.
Dispose of the used oil, oil-binding agents, and rags at
a certified used oil collection centre.
Dispose of the engine stand and its accessories only at
a certified scrap metal collection centre.
