What to do if Bosch Bicycle battery is damaged?

If your Bosch Bicycle battery is damaged, immediately remove it from service. Never allow damaged batteries to come into contact with water. If a battery is dropped or struck but shows no signs of external damage, remove it from service and observe it for at least 24 hours. Dispose of faulty batteries properly and as quickly as possible. Store in a dry place until disposal and never store near flammable substances. Never attempt to open or repair the battery.
