uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
Selecting 12/24-hour clock mode
(MODE)
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “MODE” and the current setting
(“12H” or “24H”) appear in the display

uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to switch between the
settings.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
Radio mode
This device is equipped with an RDS radio
receiver. Almost all receivable FM stations
broadcast a signal that not only carries the
programme but also additional information
such as the station name and programme type
(PTY).
The station name appears in the display ④ as
soon as it is receivable.
Activating radio mode
If you are currently in another mode of opera-
tion,
upress the BND button ②,
or
upress the SRC button ⑩ repeatedly until
"RADIO" appears in the display ④.
The current frequency or station name
appears in the display ④.
Convenient RDS function (AF, REG)
The convenient RDS functions AF (Alternative
Frequency) and REG (Regional) extend your
radio's range of functions:
uAF: If this RDS function is activated, the
device automatically searches in the
background for the best receivable
frequency for the currently tuned station.
uREG: At certain times, some radio stations
separate their programme into regional
programmes providing different content.
With the REG function activated, the
device is prevented from switching to
alternative frequencies for the tuned
station that have different programme
content.
