Notes:
uRDS has been activated at the
factory.
uREG has been deactivated at the
factory and must be activated/
deactivated separately in the
menu.
Activating/deactivating the RDS
function
uFirst switch to FM radio mode, if neces-
sary.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “RDS” and the current setting (“ON”
or “OFF”) appear in the display ④.
uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate
RDS.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
The RDS functions are enabled when the RDS
symbol appears in the display ④.
Activating/deactivating REG
uFirst switch to radio mode, if necessary.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “REG” and the current setting (“ON”
or “OFF”) appear in the display ④.
uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate REG.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
Note:
The REG ON/OFF setting only has an
effect if the RDS function is activated.
Selecting the waveband / memory
bank
With this radio you can receive programmes
broadcast on the FM, MW, LW and KW wave-
bands. There are three memory banks availa-
ble for the FM waveband (FM1, FM2 and FMT)
and one memory bank for each of the MW, LW
and KW wavebands. There is also an additional
MWT (LWT or KWT) memory bank. Six stations
can be stored in each memory bank.
To switch between the wavebands or memory
banks,
upress the BND button ②.
Tuning to stations
There are various ways of tuning to stations.
Automatic station seek tuning
Note:
Automatic station seek tuning is only
available if the “AUTOSEEK” setting is
selected for the / keys ⑥ in the
“KEY PRG” menu (please refer to the
section entitled “Button function
programming” in this chapter).
uPress the or button ⑥.
The radio tunes to the next receivable station.
