Note:
uIf traffic information priority is
activated, the radio will tune to the
next traffic information station.
uIf PTY is activated (only DAF
RADIO LUXURY), the radio tunes
to the next station of the pro-
gramme type that was selected.
Setting the sensitivity of station
seek tuning
You can choose whether the radio should only
tune to stations providing good reception (i.e.
tuning sensitivity is set to low) or whether it
can also tune to stations whose signal is weak
(i.e. tuning sensitivity is set to high).
uFirst switch to radio mode, if necessary.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress theMENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “SENS” and the current setting (“LO”
for low sensitivity or “DX” for high
sensitivity) appear in the display ④.
uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to switch between the
settings.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
Manual station tuning
To adjust the set frequency in small incre-
ments,
press the or button ⑥.
Note:
Incremental frequency adjustment is
only available if the “MANSEEK”
setting is selected for the / keys
⑥ in the “KEY PRG” menu (please
refer to the section entitled “Button
function programming” in this
chapter).
To adjust the tuned frequency quickly,
uhold down the or button ⑥.
Storing stations
Storing stations manually
uSelect the desired memory bank or
waveband.
uTune to the station.
uHold down one of the station buttons 1 - 6
⑧ for longer than 2 seconds to assign the
station to that button.
The confirmation beep sounds. The station is
now assigned to the selected station button.
When the radio is tuned to the stored station,
the station's memory location (e.g. “P3”) is
shown in the display ④.
Storing stations automatically
(T-STORE)
You can automatically store the 6 stations
offering the best reception in the region. In
the case of the FM waveband, the stations are
stored in the FMT memory bank. The MW, LW
and KW wavebands share a common memory
bank that is displayed as MWT, LWT or KWT
(corresponding to the waveband that was
activated the last time the T-Store function
was used).
