Traffic information
Activating/deactivating traffic
information priority
To activate/deactivate traffic information prior-
ity in every operating mode,
upress the TA button ⑨.
Note:
This function is only available in USB
and AUX mode if the waveband that
was set last is FM.
Traffic announcement priority is enabled when
the TA symbol is shown in the display ④. As
soon as the device receives a traffic announce-
ment, it plays the announcement. “TRAFFIC”
is shown in the display ④ while the announce-
ment is playing.
Note:
You will hear a warning beep:
uif, while listening to the traffic
information station or while in
USB/AUX mode, you leave the
reception area of the tuned traffic
information station and the
subsequent automatic seek tuning
cannot find a new traffic informa-
tion station.
uif you retune the radio from a
traffic information station to a
station that does not broadcast
traffic information.
You can then either deactivate traffic
information priority or tune to a
station that broadcasts traffic
information.
Setting the volume boost for traffic
announcements (TA DIFF)
You can configure how many volume levels
louder the traffic announcements should be
played compared to the currently set volume
level:
uFirst switch to FM radio mode, if neces-
sary.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “TA DIFF” and the current setting
appear in the display ④.
uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to set the volume boost to a
setting between 0 and 10.
To close the menu,
upress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times).
Note:
During a traffic announcement, you
can use the volume control ① to
adjust the volume for the duration of
that announcement.
Suppressing traffic announcements
To cancel a playing traffic announcement and
return to the audio source you were listening
to last,
upress the TA button ⑨.
Traffic announcement priority remains ena-
bled.
