Displaying track information once
as scrolling text
uPress the 5 button ⑧.
The ID3 tags for the current track are displayed
once as scrolling text in the display ④.
Note:
This function is not available if the
displaying of track information as
scrolling text is deactivated. For
further details on this, please read
the following section entitled
“Activate/deactivate the displaying of
track information as scrolling text
(SCRL)”.
Activate/deactivate the displaying
of track information as scrolling
text (SCRL)
To activate/deactivate the displaying of track
information as scrolling text at the start of a
track,
ufirst switch to USB MP3/WMA mode, if
necessary.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until “SCRL” and the current setting (“ON”
or “OFF”) appear in the display ④.
uTurn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate
scrolling text.
uPress the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
If “SCRL OFF” is set, the track information
appears in the display ④ in sections of 8
characters at a time. In this case, the display
continuously switches between showing each
section of text as well as the track number and
playing time for 5 seconds each.
Selecting a directory
To move up or down to another directory,
upress the or button ⑥.
Note:
Any directories that do not contain
MP3 files will be skipped automati-
cally.
The device handles all directories and
subdirectories as if they were on the
same level. By repeatedly pressing
the or button ⑥, you can
therefore also access all the sub-
directories.
Selecting a track
uPress the or button ⑥ to switch to
the previous or next track.
If the current track has already been playing for
longer than 10 seconds, it will be restarted if
you press the button ⑥ once.
Fast searching
For fast searching backwards or forwards,
USB (MP3) mode
