▶ Charging External USB
Devices
Do not connect any
device that is not
compatible with 5VDC, 2.1A power
source to the USB port on the portable
power adapter. Charging of non-
compatible devices may create a risk of
portable power adapter malfunction.
You can use the USB ports on the
portable power adapter to increase the
battery runtime of various battery-
operated USB devices, e.g. mobile
phone, MP3 player or tablet PC.
Ensure that your external USB device
can be charged using the USB port on
the portable power adapter.
To use the USB cord supplied with your
personal device, plug the USB cable into
the USB port and the other end into
your device. To activate or wake-up the

Battery Pack
Use only with Bosch
BAT414 or the
batteries listed in the battery/charger
list. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of jacket malfunctions,
injury and fire.
If battery release
tabs are cracked or
otherwise damaged, do not insert into
portable power adapter. Battery can fall
out during operation.
To insert the battery, align battery and
slide battery pack into the portable
power adapter until it locks into
position. Do not force.
Release battery pack from the portable
power adapter unit by pressing on both
sides of the battery release tabs and
pull downward.
