Cause
Charge duration is too long, as
charging current is too low.
Corrective Measure
Only use the original Bosch charger.
Battery charge-control indicator (g) or prolonged charge duration
indication m in the display
Measuring result not plausible
Cause
The target surface does not reflect
correctly (e.g. water, glass).
The laser beam outlet 17 or the
reception lens 18 are covered.
Wrong measurement reference set.
Obstruction in path of laser beam
Corrective Measure
Cover the target surface
Make sure that the laser beam
outlet 17 or the reception lens 18
are unobstructed.
Select measurement reference
that corresponds to measurement.
Laser point must reflect off of the
target surface.
Cause
Software error.
Corrective Measure
Press the measuring button 2 and
the button for clearing the internal
memory / On/Off 4 to reset the
software.
The indication remains unchanged or the measuring tool reacts
unexpectedly after pressing a button
The measuring tool monitors the correct function for
each measurement. When a defect is determined, only
the symbol shown flashes in the display. In this case, or
when the above mentioned corrective measures cannot
correct an error, have the measuring tool checked by an
after-sales service agent for Bosch power tools.
