Charging Instructions
Use only power
adapter and USB C
cable listed in the manual Specification
section to charge the Bosch battery
pack. Using other power adapter and
USB C cable may increase the risk of
fire, personal injury and property
damage.
Do not use the
provided USB C cable
in application higher than 5V 1A. Using
USB cable beyond its rating may
increase the risk of fire, personal injury
and property damage.
Do not charge
battery when USB C
port is wet. Allow the USB C port to
dry out prior to charging battery.
Moisture on USB port during charge may
cause fire, serious personal injury
and/or property damage.
Note: The battery pack is supplied
partially charged. To ensure full capacity
of the battery pack, completely charge
the battery pack before using for the
first time.
Note: The battery pack can be charged
in or out of tool. Tool can be used while
charging.
The lithium-ion battery pack can be
charged at any time without reducing its
service life. Interrupting the charging
procedure does not damage the battery
pack.
To charge the battery:
Insert USB plug in a USB compliant
device. Lift the USB C cover. Insert the
USB C plug into USB C port. Once
charging is complete, remove the USB C
plug and close the USB C cover to
protect your battery.

The LED light is located under USB-C
port cover. The battery LED indicator
shows the charging state of the battery

Use the Bosch
rechargeable lithium-
ion battery packs only with tools listed
in the Specification section of this
manual. Use of the battery pack with
other tools may increase the risk of fire,
personal injury and property damage.
Remove the batteries
from the tool when
not using it for extended periods.
When storing for extended periods, the
batteries can corrode and self-
discharge.
The lithium-ion battery is protected
against deep discharge by the Electronic
Cell Protection (ECP). A protective
circuit switches the laser level off when
the battery is drained.
Following the automatic shut off of
the tool, do not continue to press the
On/Off button. The battery can be
damaged.
To insert the charged battery pack, slide
it into the battery port until you feel it
lock into position. Do not use force.
To remove the battery pack, press the
Li-ion battery pack locking mechanism
and pull the battery pack out of the
battery port. Do not use force.
