19.8 Installing the appliance
1.
Slide the appliance in fully and centre it.
2.
Screw the appliance into place.
Note:The gap between the worktop and the appliance
must not be closed by additional battens.
Thermal insulation strips must not be fitted to the side
panels of the surround unit.
19.9 For handleless kitchens with vertical
bar handle strips:
1.
Attach a suitable filling piece on both sides in order
to cover any sharp edges and to guarantee safe in-
stallation.
2.
Secure the filling piece to the unit.
3.
Pre-drill the filling piece and the unit to establish a
screw connection.
4.
Secure the appliance using a suitable screw.
19.10 Removing the appliance
1.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2.
Undo the fastening screws.
3.
Lift the appliance slightly and pull it out completely.
