The fan can be heard when it is running, and warm air
may be felt as it is released from the oven vent. The fan
may also run after the oven is off.
Oven vents
Warm air may be released from the oven vents before,
during and after cooking. It is normal to see steam escap-
ing from the vents, and condensation may collect in this
area. This area may be warm when the oven is in use.
CAUTION
The oven vents are important for air circulation. Covering
the oven vents will cause the oven to overheat. Refer to
the appliance overview for the location of the oven vents.

Do not obstruct oven vents.
Cooking zones
Here you can find an overview of the cooking zones available on your cooktop. Place the cookware on the cooking zone
that best matches its size.
The embedded panel near the front of the cooktop surface has an indicator light for each cooking zone. When a cooking
zone is active, the corresponding indicator lights up.
Symbol Cooking zone Function
Single cooking zone Only one cooking zone size is available.
Dual cooking zone Two cooking zone sizes are available.
Triple cooking zone Three cooking zone sizes are available.
Warming zone Use for keeping food warm.
The warming zone is controlled via the oven control panel. There is
only one heat level available.
Residual heat indicator
The cooktop is equipped with a residual heat indicator for
each cooking zone.
The cooking zone indicator at the front of the cooktop sur-
face stays lit as long as the cooking zone is still warm. Do
not touch the cooking zone while the indicator lights up.

You can use the control panel to configure all functions of
your appliance and to obtain information about the operat-
ing status.
