How to fix a Bosch Water Heater that only produces cold water and the neon light is off?

  If your Bosch Water Heater is only producing cold water and the neon light is off, here are a few things to check: * First, ensure that the electricity supply is on. * Next, verify that the water supply is connected to the INLET (marked in blue) of the unit, not the outlet. * Also, the high temperature thermal cut out may have tripped. Reset it by opening the unit and pushing the button on the cut out (Fig. 3). But before you do this, you must find the cause of the problem. * Finally, the flow switch may not be working. Turn off the power and observe if the flow switch activates when the water is turned on. If not contact Bosch Thermotechnology 866- 330-2729 www.bosch-climate.us

Why is my Bosch Water Heater's water too cold when the neon light is on?

  If your Bosch Water Heater is producing water that is too cold, but the neon light is on, consider these potential causes: * The water flow might be too high. In this case, adjust the water flow (see Table 4). * The power selector screw may not be all the way to “HI”. Change the power select screw to “HI”, see Fig. 5. * It's possible that one element is not working. Switch off the electricity and check the resistance of the elements (see Table 4). * Also, the power supply voltage may have dropped. Check the supply voltage to the heater (see Table 4).
