The appliance uses gas combustion to heat water as it flows through a heat exchanger. It is designed for external wall installation and requires connections for cold water inlet, hot water supply, and gas inlet, along with a horizontal flue for exhaust. To operate the Bosch 10P, users first need to ensure that all hot water taps are open to expel any air from the system before lighting. The appliance is started by pressing and holding a button, then pressing an igniter button after a few seconds. If the pilot flame does not light, the ignition procedure should be repeated. For areas where atmospheric temperatures may drop below 0°C, the heater must be drained to prevent damage from freezing water.
