Stop and remove plug from the power
supply.
Place the handle in the vertical position.Turn the
machine on its right side and inspect the cutter:
If blunt or damaged, fit a new cutter as follows:
To remove the worn cutter

push along its
length, in direction of the arrow, as in figure

until it snaps off the pivot

Clean the pivot

of any residual plastic/debris
with a sharp knife.
To refit the new cutter

place the eyelet over
the pivot

and pull outwards until it snaps into
place.

Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly us-
ing a soft brush and cloth.
Do not use water, sol-
vents or polishes
. Remove all grass and debris,
especially from the air filter as in figure
H
.
Turn the machine on its right side and clean the
blade area. If grass cuttings are compacted in
the blade area, remove with a wooden or plas-
tic implement.
Store the machine in a dry place. Do not place
other objects on top of the machine.
To aid storage loosen the wing nuts

and fold
the handles. If necessary hang as shown in fig-
ure
C
.
Ensure cables are not trapped when folding/un-
folding top handles, do not drop the handles.

Agent.
Warning: Switch off, remove plug from mains before investigating fault.
