Malfunction Cause Troubleshooting
Rust traces on the cutlery. Cutlery is not sufficiently
rust resistant. Knife blades
are often more affected by
this.
▶ Use rust-resistant cutlery.
Cutlery also rusts
when washed with
rusty objects.
▶ Do not wash rusting objects
off.
Salt content in the washing
water is too high.
1. Remove spilled softening salt from
the rinse aid container.
2. Tightly close the lid of the
softening salt reservoir.
There are detergent
residues in the detergent
dispenser or in the tablet
dispenser.
The spray arms were
blocked by crockery,
which prevented the
detergent from being
rinsed away.
▶ Make sure the spray arms are not
locked and free to rotate.
