– Select ÷Start.

Changing the programme, if ...
... you have selected the wrong progra mme by mistake:
– Reselect the programme .
– Select ÷Start. The new programme star ts from the
beginning.

Check the machine
– Never use a dama ged machine.

Sorting and loading laundry
Follow the manufacturer's care in formation.

Insert large and small items of laundry.
Close the washing machine door. Ta ke care not to trap items of laundry
between the washing machine doo r and the rubber seal.
Add detergent and care products
Measure accordingly:
Amount of laundry, soiling, water hardnes s (ask your water supply
company) and manufacturer's instructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

final rinse, laundry soaks in the last rinsin g water) can be set. The effects depen d on the
programme progress.
The maximum selectable spin spe ed depends on the model and on which programme is
currently selected.

Important information
Protecting the laundry and the machine
– When determining the dosage of all washing powders, additives and cleaning agents, you
must follow the manufacturer's in structions.
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for metal ite ms (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash delicates in a lau ndry bag (tights, curtains, underwired bras).
– Fasten zips, do up an y buttons.
– Brush sand out of poc kets and collars.
– Remove curtain fittings or place in the laundry bag.

Soaking Load laundry of the same c olour
Pour soaking agent/detergent into compartment II in accordance with the m anufacturer's
instructions. Turn the programme selector to LCottons 30 °C and select ÷Start. After approx.
10 minutes, press ÷Start, to pause th e programme. Once the required soaki ng time has
elapsed, press ÷Start, again to continu e the programme, or select a different programme.
Starching Laundry must not be treated with fabric softener
Starching is possible in all wash progr ammes if liquid starch is used. Pour s tarch into the
fabric softener compartment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions ~ (rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye should only be used in normal household quantities. Salt may damage s tainless steel.
Always follow the dye manufacturer's instructions. Do not use the washing machine for
bleaching clothes.

Removing the washing
Open the washing machine door and remove the washing.
If Rinse Hold (without final spin) is active: Tu rn the
programme selector to >Drain or select the spin speed.
Select Start.
– Remove any foreig n objects -
risk of rusting.
– Leave the washing machine door and detergent
drawer open so that any residual wa ter can
evaporate.
