  If the Boston Scientific Controller doesn't start, check the following: * Ensure the power cord is firmly connected at both ends. * Verify the receptacle has power by testing it with another electrical device. * Check the receptacle’s circuit breaker to ensure it is not tripped. * Reboot the controller. Power it down, then restart it. If the problem persists, contact Boston Scientific support. * Replace the power cord if it's defective. * If the controller fuse is blown or the controller is damaged, contact Boston Scientific for support.

  If you've connected the catheter cable to the Boston Scientific Controller but see no video image, try these steps: * Power up the video monitor and ensure it's properly connected to both the monitor and the controller. * Verify the monitor is set to the correct video input. * Ensure the catheter cable is firmly inserted into the connector with the locking tab facing up, and that the connection terminals are dry and clean. * Replace the SpyScope™ DS Catheter if it is broken or defective. * Press the illumination light button to turn on the light. The light On/Off button should be illuminated blue.

If the issue persists, the SpyScope DS Catheter may be broken or defective and require replacement.
