Your Brandt Ventilation Hood might not be operating effectively due to several reasons. Ensure that: the selected motor speed is sufficient for the amount of smoke and vapors that needs to be cleared; the kitchen is well-ventilated to allow fresh air to come in; and if your hood is in recycling mode, the carbon filter is not worn out.
