Connections
By
means
of
cinch
sockets
located
at
the
back
of the
amplifiers
Suitable
connection
cables
are
supplied
with
the
compatible
Braun
models
T1
tuner,
P1
turntable,
C1
cassette
deck.
Connections
to recording
equipment
Tape
decks
or
cassette
decks
can
be
con-
nected
by
means
of
either
the
sockets
"tape
1"
or
"tape
2".
The
sockets
"in"
and
,<out',
refer
to
the
amplifier,
the
,.out,,
sockets
deliver
the
signal
to the
tape
deck
whilst
the
"in"
sockets
transfer
the
signal
to
the
ampli-
fier.
Loudspeaker
connections
By
means
of
push-in
connectors
at the
back
of the
amplifier.
Suitable
loudspeakers
All
Braun
loudspeakers
may
be
used
in
con-
junction
with
the
A1
amplifier.
Should
other
loudspeakers
be
utilised,
the
power
output
of
50
watt
at
g
ohm,
and
65
watt
at
4
ohm
should
be
taken
into
account.
In
order
to
maintain
optimum
sound
quality
all
loudspeakers
used
should
be
of
the
same
type.
Please
note:
The
loudspeaker
impedance
should
never
be
less
than
4
ohm.
Operating
controls:
Push-buttons
Desired
function
is
obtained
by
pressing
the
push-button.
Rotary
switch
ninput
selector,

desired
signal
source

loudspeakers.

allows
the
desired
signal
source
to
be
recorded
on
the
connected
tape

cassette
deck.

one
pair
of loudspeakers

connected.

be heard.
Therefore
ensure
that
the
switch
for
the
speakers
not
being
used
is
not
depressed.
Displays
The
illumination
of
the red
LEDs
"clip"
indi-
cates
clipping
is
taking
place
and
the volume
should
be
turned
down.
Electronic
protection
This
model
is
fitted
with
electronic
protec-
tion
against
shorting
in
the
loudspeaker
cir-
cuits
and
overheating.
An
automatic
switch
reactivates
the
amplifier
when
the
fault
has
been rectified,
or
when
the
amplifier
has
cooled
down.
