This document describes the Oral-B electric rechargeable toothbrush, designed for personal oral care. It emphasizes safe and effective use, maintenance, and warranty information.
The Oral-B electric rechargeable toothbrush is designed for tooth brushing only, providing a thorough and gentle cleaning experience. It features an oscillating-rotating brush head that guides slowly from tooth to tooth, spending a few seconds on each tooth surface. The toothbrush is equipped with a PRO timer that memorizes the elapsed brushing time, helping users adhere to professionally recommended brushing durations. It offers multiple brushing modes to cater to different needs, including «Sensitive» for gentle cleaning, «SensitivePlus» for extra sensitive areas, and «Daily Clean» for standard daily cleaning. The device is waterproof and electrically safe for bathroom use.
To use the toothbrush, wet the brush head and apply any kind of toothpaste. To avoid splashing, guide the brush head to your teeth before switching on the appliance. When brushing, start with the outsides of your teeth, then the insides, and finally the chewing surfaces. Brush all four quadrants of your mouth equally, without pressing too hard, allowing the brush to do the work.
The toothbrush is charged by plugging the charging unit into an electrical outlet and placing the handle on the charging unit. A full charge takes approximately 22 hours. For everyday use, the handle can be stored on the plugged-in charging unit to maintain full power, as overcharging is not possible. To maintain maximum battery capacity, it is recommended to unplug the charging unit and fully discharge the handle with regular use at least every 6 months.
The integrated timer assists with brushing duration. A «2-Minute» timer indicates the end of the professionally recommended 2-minute brushing time with a short stuttering sound. The «Professional» timer provides a short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals to remind users to brush equally all four quadrants of the mouth, with a long stuttering sound indicating the end of the 2-minute brushing time.
Brushing modes can be selected by pressing the on/off switch. To switch off the toothbrush, hold the on/off button until the motor stops.
Oral-B offers various brush heads to suit different needs. The Oral-B CrossAction brush head features angled bristles for a precise clean, lifting and powering away plaque. The Oral-B Sensitive Clean brush head combines regular bristles for cleaning tooth surfaces with ultrathin bristles for a gentle gumline experience. Most Oral-B brush heads feature INDICATOR® bristles that fade in color over approximately 3 months (with thorough brushing twice a day for two minutes), indicating the need for replacement. If bristles splay before the color recedes, it may suggest too much pressure on teeth and gums. Specific brush heads, like «FlossAction» or «3D White», are not recommended for use with braces; instead, the Oral-B «Ortho» brush head is designed for cleaning around braces and wires.
Proper cleaning of the toothbrush and its components is crucial for safe use and functional life. After each use, rinse the brush head for several seconds under running water with the handle switched on. Then, switch off the handle, remove the brush head, and rinse both parts separately under running water. Wipe both parts dry before reassembling or storing.
The charging unit and travel case should be cleaned with a damp cloth only; never place the charging unit in water. Store the clean and dry toothbrush and brush heads in the travel case. The brush head holder is dishwasher-safe.
Brush heads should be replaced every 3 months or sooner if they become worn. If the toothbrush handle is dropped, the brush head should be replaced before the next use, even if no damage is visible. Ensure the brush head fits well before each use; discontinue use if it no longer fits properly, and never use the toothbrush without a brush head to avoid breakage, choking hazards, or damage to teeth.
The appliance contains non-replaceable batteries. For battery recycling, dispose of the entire device according to local environmental regulations. Opening the handle will destroy the appliance and invalidate the warranty. When unplugging, always pull the power plug, not the cord, and avoid touching the power plug with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
The product contains batteries and/or recyclable electric waste. For environmental protection, do not dispose of it in household waste, but take it to electric waste collection points provided in your country for recycling.
