GARANTIE
Onderstaande garantiebepalingen vormen een aanvulling op de wettelijke rechten.
Voorwaarden
Brekr geeft een garantie op eventuele materiaal- of constructiefouten aan de brommer
aan de eerste eigenaar van de brommer. Deze is, met uitzondering van alle wettelijke
voorwaarden, niet overdraagbaar.
Periode
Brekr geeft een garantie van zeven jaar op het frame en twee jaar op alle bewegende
onderdelen. De accu heeft een garantie van minimaal 500 laadcycli voordat deze accu onder
de 80% van zijn levensduur komt, met een maximum van twee jaar.
Er wordt geen garantie verleend wanneer:
• De brommer oneigenlijk of onzorgvuldig is gebruikt.
• De brommer beschadigd is door een verkeersongeval of valpartij.
• De brommer niet is onderhouden zoals geadviseerd door Brekr.
• De schade het gevolg is van normale slijtage.
• Reparaties door een niet-Brekr bevoegde reparateur zijn uitgevoerd.
• Niet-originele onderdelen zijn gebruikt bij bijvoorbeeld reparaties.
• Onderdelen onjuist gemonteerd zijn en/of de constructie gewijzigd is door een niet-
Brekr bevoegde monteur.
• De brommer voor verhuur of bezorging is gebruikt.
• De brommer wordt opgevoerd, er meer vermogen ontstaat of de brommer harder rijdt
dan wettelijk is toegestaan.
De kosten voor transport van onderdelen van de brommer of de brommer behoren niet
tot de garantie en is voor rekening van de eigenaar. Vergoeding van lichamelijk letsel of
schade aan andere goederen dan (originele onderdelen van) de Brekr is, voor zover wettelijk
toegestaan, uitgesloten.
BEFORE RIDING
Control Points Before Riding
For your own safety and for the lifetime of the Brekr, you always have to check if:
• All (transport)protection and security like a (chain)lock is removed.
• The steering wheel turns smoothly and whether the switches on the steering wheel
function normally.
• The tire pressure is correct (to know what is correct, see the information under the
saddle).
• The tires are damaged or worn and the tread depth is sucient ( > 0.8 mm).
• A warning sign lights up on the display when the Model B is switched on.
• The battery is suciently charged and correctly positioned and connected. Important:
Make sure that the bayonet tting snaps onto the battery pack when it is attached.
• The headlight, taillight, indicators and horn are working.
• The brake uid is suciently lled; check this through the glass on the side of the
reservoirs.
• The mirror on the Brekr is mounted, properly adjusted and clean.
• You comply with all applicable laws and regulations for driving.
Good to know before, during and after riding
• The maximum loadable weight is 160kg.
• The passenger must be able to reach the footrests at least with their feet.
• The Brekr should not be cleaned with a high pressure cleaner, see the explanation about
how to clean the Brekr on our support platform.
• The Brekr is not suitable for driving through a puddle of water deeper than 20cm.
Time To Ride
Now you have checked everything, it is time to ride:
1. Sit back and make sure the footrests are folded out.
2. Insert the key into the lock and turn to the right.
3. Wait until the display is fully started and all checks have been made.
4. To take the Brekr out of the P position: ip up the stand by the left foot and/or press the
P button on the right side of the steering wheel.
5. Squeeze the brakes briey to move from the free/neutral (N) position.
6. Choose a driving mode:
1) Much control. Good for maneuvering and maximum range mode
2) More speed and acceleration
3) Maximum speed and high acceleration. Limited regeneration
4) Maximum speed and maximum acceleration. More regeneration during acceleration
and braking
7. Turn the sound of the Brekr on or o with the sound button on the right side of the
handlebar.
8. Then turn the ‘throttle’ (right handle) slowly towards you, apply dosed gas.
9. Let’s ride!
