Confirm the fuel valve is in the on (I) position. 3. Check the oil level and fill the crankcase to the proper level, or place the generator on a level surface. 4. Inspect the air cleaner and clean or replace it if dirty. 5. Make sure the fuel tank is full. 6. Verify the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug. 7. If flooded with fuel, wait 5 minutes before re-cranking the engine.
