Your Briggs & Stratton Portable Generator might shut down during operation due to several reasons: * A circuit breaker may be open: Reset the circuit breaker. * There may be a fault in the generator: Contact an authorized service facility. * There might be a poor connection or defective cord set: Check and repair the connection or cord. * The connected device could be faulty: Connect a device that is in good condition. * The generator may be out of gasoline: Fill the fuel tank. * The oil level might be low: Fill the crankcase to the proper level or place the generator on a level surface. * The load might be too high: See "Don't Overload Generator".
