PURITY C
1. The hose you need to ush the lter is located on the top of the lter.
It is grey in colour and about 10 cm long – see picture right.
2. The mechanism that controls the water being ushed is either a small round grey
button or a small grey slider and built into the top of the lter – see pictures below;
3. To ush the lter you must have a bucket and enough space next to the BRITA PURITY C
lter to be able to locate the bucket, so that it can sit at on the oor. If the lter is in
a cupboard you may need to lift the lter out of the cupboard in order to ush the lter
safely and so that the grey hose can reach the bucket. Be careful not to damage or
kink the water hoses when moving the lter from the cupboard.
4. The grey hose must be inside the bucket before you start the ushing procedure.
Also make sure that you are holding onto the ush hose before turning the water on,
as if the water pressure is too strong it may cause the hose to ip out of the bucket.
