DO - Set a good example by always wearing your seat belt. Make
sure it is a firm rule that the car doesn’t move until everyone
is buckled up. Make no exceptions for adults or children.
DO - Always check the Toddler Restraint for heat before placing
a child into the seat. Plastic parts can become hot to touch
in sunny weather.
DO - Put the lightest passenger on the seat behind the Toddler
Restraint. In an accident, a heavy passenger could cause more
injuries to your child than a light one.
DO - Keep the Toddler Restraint securely belted to the vehicle,
even when it is not occupied. In a crash or sudden stop,
any unsecured child restraint and other loose objects will
keep moving and can cause serious injuries.
DO - Make sure that the Toddler Restraint does not become
trapped by a folding car seat or in the door or trunk lid of
your car.
DO - Replace any worn seat belts immediately. Remove the
Toddler Restraint and inspect the vehicle seat belt periodically
for signs of wear, fraying or damage.
DO NOT - Leave children alone in your car, even for a short time.
DO NOT - Attempt to disassemble or modify any part of the
Toddler Restraint or your vehicle’s seat belts.
DO NOT - Use anything, such as a cushion or coat to raise the
Toddler Restraint off the passenger seat. In an accident
the Toddler Restraint and vehicle’s seat belts would
not be able to protect your child as well as they shoujd.
Radio transmitters, such as a portable telephone or citizens band
unit should only be used inside the passenger compartment if they
are connected to a Mercedes-Benz approved antenna that is installed
on the outside of the vehicle.

and lukewarm water. Clean fabric parts with vehicle upholstery
