Function Description:
The Broyhill Eagle Brooke Gas Firepit Table is an outdoor appliance designed to provide warmth and ambiance through a gas-fueled fire. It features a concrete stone top and is designed to be used with a propane gas cylinder. The appliance includes a burner system, a control knob for adjusting flame height, and an igniter button for lighting. Lava rocks are used to cover the burner and enhance the visual effect of the fire. A cover is provided to protect the burner system when not in use or during rainy days.

Usage Features:
- Outdoor Use Only: This appliance is strictly for outdoor use in a well-ventilated space and should not be used in a building, garage, camper, tent, car, home, or any other enclosed area.
- Assembly: The manual provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the firepit table, including attaching frame components, installing the front door, placing the table top, and securing the propane tank.
- Propane Tank Installation: The propane tank is placed into the bottom frame and secured with a plastic screw. The fuel supply hose is then attached to the tank by rotating clockwise. The igniter valve should face the front left side of the appliance.
- Lava Rock Placement: Lava rocks are placed into the steel cover, ensuring that three specific holes on the fire shield are clear to allow adequate airflow after ignition. The lava rocks should not be exposed over the steel cover surface.
- Lighting Instructions:
- Ensure the control knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Open the igniter button and install an AAA battery, then secure the cap.
- Turn the propane cylinder gas valve to the fully open position.
- Press down on the control knob and turn counter-clockwise to the "LOW" position.
- Push in the gas control knob all the way and hold.
- Continue to press the ignition button for 15 seconds.
- If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, release the control knob, turn it clockwise to "OFF," wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process.
- Adjusting Flame and Shutting Down:
- Once lit, press down the control knob and turn it to the desired heat output position between "LOW" and "HIGH."
- To shut down, press down and turn the control knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
- Turn off the cylinder gas valve.
- To extinguish the flame, push the control knob in and rotate clockwise.
- Gas Leak Checking: A soap solution (one part liquid detergent, one part water) should be applied to all gas connections, especially the inlet/manifold pressure tap. Bubbles indicate a leak. Never use a flame to check for leaks.
- Safety Warnings:
- Keep children and adults aware of hot surfaces and clothing ignition hazards.
- Children must be supervised.
- Do not hang flammable materials on or near the appliance.
- Any guard or protective device removed for servicing must be replaced.
- Installation and repair must be performed by a qualified person.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors/liquids near the appliance.
- Disconnected propane cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area, out of children's reach, with a dust cap secured.
- Never use the appliance if any part has been under water; call a qualified service technician.
- Do not lean over or touch the stone/spark guard while in use.
- Propane gas tanks must not be stored inside the appliance or in the vicinity of other gas appliances when not connected for use.
- Do not subject propane tanks to excessive heat or store them indoors.
- Propane tanks must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area and out of children's reach.
- The appliance can produce carbon monoxide; never use in an enclosed space.
- Lava rocks may crackle or pop, especially if left uncovered and exposed to moisture. It is recommended to run the burner on high for 30 minutes initially and cover the fire pit when not in use.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Inspection: Inspect the hose assembly and burner before each use. Replace if there is evidence of excessive abrasion, wear, or damage.
- Burner Cleaning: The burner should always be cleaned. Disconnect it from the appliance, use a cleaner to remove blockages from ports, and drain blockages from the gas inlet. A high-pressure stream of water may also be used. Use a wire-bristle brush to clean the burner surface and a straightened paper clip to remove debris or rust from small burner ports.
- Frame Cleaning: Wash frame parts with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not use bleach, acid, or other solvents.
- Fastener Tightening: Inspect and tighten all bolts and fasteners regularly to ensure proper performance and safety.
- Storage: When not in use, store the appliance in a dry and secure area. Always disconnect the propane gas tank first and store it safely outside.
- Lava Rock Maintenance: Stir up the lava rocks regularly to remove carbon residue and maintain a blue flame.
- Touch-up Paint: Touch-up paint for the table top (#15) is provided to repair scratches.
- Hose and Regulator Inspection: The regulator with hose assembly should be inspected before each use for excessive wear, abrasions, or cuts. Replace if damaged. Keep the hose away from hot surfaces and avoid twisting.
- Periodic Checks: Make periodic checks to ensure all connections are secured.
- Professional Service: Installation and repair should be done by a qualified person. The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service technician. Frequent cleaning may be required. The control compartment, burners, and circulating air passageways must be kept clean.
Warranty:
This product is covered by Creative Courtyards International Limited (Samoa), Taiwan Branch Inc.'s one-year limited warranty. Proof of purchase (dated register receipt) is required for warranty claims. The customer is responsible for freight and packing charges to and from the service center.
