BT 3500 - Answering machine operation; Using the answering machine via the base unit

To check or play your
outgoing message via
the base unit
You can check and play your
current outgoing message at
any time via your Quartet 3500
base unit.
Press the ANS ON/OFF
button.
The prompt will announce
either:
“Answer on, your outgoing
message is...” and play your
currently selected outgoing
message.
Or
“Answer off”.
The base display will show
P
flashing alternating with the
number of the outgoing
message currently selected:
1 for Answer and Record
and
2 for Answer Only.

until the display shows

Press the OK option button.
The display will show
Answer
Mode
.
Press the UP or DOWN
button until the display shows
Outgoing Message .
Press the OK option button.
Use the UP or DOWN button
to highlight the mode you
want to set, either: Answer and
Record or Answer Only.
Press the OK option button.
The display will show
Outgoing
Message
and the voice prompt
will automatically announce
via the handset “Your outgoing
message is”, and play your
message.
