Overview

The BTL-1300 is a series of therapy couches designed for various medical and therapeutic applications, including exercise therapy, examination, and traction treatment. The couches are manufactured by Medical Technologies s.r.o. and are available in several configurations to suit different needs.

Function Description

The BTL-1300 therapy couches are primarily used for patient positioning during physical therapy, examinations, and specific treatments like Bobath and Vojta exercise therapy, and lumbar/cervical traction. The various configurations offer different levels of adjustability and features to optimize patient comfort and facilitate the therapist's work.

Configurations:

  • Bobath Couch: Designed for Bobath and Vojta exercise therapy, providing ample space for both therapist and patient.
  • 2-Section Couch: Facilitates easy patient manipulation and therapist work. An extended model with an adjustable backrest (0°/+20°) is suitable for traction treatment.
  • 3-Section Couch: Features a mechanically or electrically adjustable mid-section, ideal for low back treatment. An extended model with negative adjustment supports Trendelenburg position and hand traction. A specialized 3-section couch is designed for lumbar and cervical traction, offering friction-free movement for maximum muscular relaxation. This version can also be used for other examination and therapy applications.
  • 5-Section Couch: An extended configuration of the 3-section couch, with adjustable armrests to ensure patient relaxation in an abdominal position.

Usage Features

The BTL-1300 therapy table consists of three interconnected functional units: electric motors with hand or foot adjustment switches, a metal frame for transmitting motion, and the table area itself (particle board and upholstery).

Control Units:

  • Hand Switch (4): Adjusts the height of the table and the middle part using indicated arrows.
  • Foot Switch: Pedals on one side adjust the table's height.
  • Pedal (5): Lifts the table off its wheels.
  • Safety Wheels (1): Once released, armrests can be set to the desired position and secured with knobs.
  • Head Rest Adjustment (2): Pressing the lever towards the headrest and releasing it adjusts the headrest upwards. To adjust downwards, press the lever towards the headrest and push the headrest down.
  • Foot Part Adjustment (3): Identical to headrest adjustment, using lever (3).

Safe Use Instructions:

  • When adjusting head or footrests downwards, hold these parts before releasing safety levers.
  • When manipulating the table on wheels, move it only on an even surface; otherwise, lift the table.
  • Do not overload the table; it cannot be adjusted if loaded with more than 170 kg.
  • When lifting the table, the upper desk also moves horizontally.
  • If the floor is uneven, use the height-adjustable screws in the table frame to eliminate unevenness.
  • Pedals for lifting the table onto wheels are located on both sides of the table at the foot end.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning:

  • The upholstery should be washed with a detergent.
  • Disinfect using a 10% Persteril solution.
  • Avoid using acetone-based substances.

Maintenance:

  • The revolving bearings of the metal frame are equipped with plastic and brass cases. It is recommended to grease the brass cases regularly.
