Use Ferries: Unselect to avoid
ferries. A checkmark appears to
indicate the route will use this
parameter for guidance.
Use Tunnels: Unselect to avoid
tunnels. A checkmark appears to
indicate the route will use this
parameter for guidance.
Use Time Restricted: Unselect to
avoid time restricted roads.
A checkmark appears to indicate
the route will use this parameter for
guidance.
Use Car Train: Unselect to avoid
car trains. A checkmark appears to
indicate the route will use this
parameter for guidance.
Calculate After Confirmation: If
enabled, the system will provide a
pop-up if a possible guidance route
is available to detour around traffic
events on the route. Select Yes from
the pop-up and the new route will be
calculated. XM NavTraffic
®
information might not be provided
for the alternate route, depending on
what type of road the vehicle is
traveling.
Delete Saved Destinations
Select to delete all saved
destinations. A Delete Saved
Destinations submenu displays.
Select the desired options for
deletion.
Guidance Alert
Select to enable the guidance alert
pop-up to be viewed on the map or
on the main screens such as audio,
weather, phone, etc. A checkmark
appears to indicate the guidance
alert mode is on.

See “Vehicle Personalization” in the
owner manual.
Display Settings
Select the Config button on the
Home Page or press the CONFIG
button on the faceplate, then select
Display Settings from the list.
