POWER LIFTGATE
Open/Close the Power Ligate
Press the Power Ligate button on the
Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (key fob)
twice.
Press the
Power Ligate knob (A) on
the driver’s door.
Press the touchpad on the ligate handle to
open the ligate.
Press the
button (B) next to the latch to
close theligate.
Programming the Ligate Height
1. Turn the
Power Ligate knob (A) to the
3/4 mode.
2. Open the ligate and adjust it manually to the
desired position.
3. To save the setting, press and hold the
button (B) next to the ligate latch until the turn
signals ash and a beep sounds.
4. With the knob in the 3/4 mode, the ligate
will open to the saved position.
Hands-Free Operation
To open or close the ligate hands-free, kick your
foot straight under the driver’s side of the rear
bumper, le of center. The key fob must be within
3 feet of the ligate. Depending on operating
conditions, the Buick logo is projected on the
ground near the rear bumper to indicate the kick-
ing motion location.

To apply the parking brake, press the
Parking Brake button on the le side of
the instrument panel.
To release the parking brake, turn on the igni-
tion, press the brake pedal, and then press
the
button.
Note: The parking brake will release automatically if
the vehicle is running, placed into gear and an attempt
is made to drive.
