Why is no coffee coming out of my Bunn Coffee Maker?
    • A
      Amanda ThomasJul 26, 2025
If no coffee is coming out of your Bunn Coffee Maker, ensure the lid is closed. Also, keep in mind that evaporation can occur over time, so the reservoir may need to be refilled. Remember that a minimum of 4 cups (20 oz) is required to begin brewing. Finally, check the sprayhead holes and clean them if necessary.

What to do if the funnel is overflowing on my Bunn Coffee Maker?
    • K
      Katrina WilkersonAug 1, 2025
If the funnel is overflowing, make sure you are using BUNN paper filters. Also, check if the sprayhead is missing. The issue might be due to using decaffeinated, fine grind coffee, or softened water. In this case, check the bottom of page 10 to order the correct sprayhead or paper filters.

Why does my Bunn BX Coffee Maker brew only a partial decanter?
    • A
      Ashley BullockAug 6, 2025
If your Bunn Coffee Maker brews only a partial decanter, it may be because evaporation has occurred over time, so the reservoir may need to be refilled. Also, some water is always absorbed by the coffee grounds and filter, so you may need to adjust the water input accordingly.

How to make Bunn BX coffee hotter?
    • J
      jaimehoganAug 13, 2025
To ensure your coffee is hot, plug in the brewer and turn on the vacation switch on the side; allow 15 minutes for the water to heat to the proper temperature. Also, the warmer switch should be in the 'on' position for BX, GRX, and NHBX models. If you are using a BTX with a thermal carafe, pre-heating it will increase the time your coffee stays warm.

Why is my Bunn BX Coffee Maker making a loud rumbling noise?
    • S
      Sandra HillAug 18, 2025
A loud rumbling noise could be caused by a few things. Ensure the lid is fully open. Also, the brewer isn't designed to hold water in the upper tray for an extended period. To resolve this, remove the top lid to ensure the rocker arm is snapped in place and the rubber stopper area is thoroughly cleaned.
